She called to see if I could tell her what this dream was all about. I am not a dream reader, but I told her that it probably meant that she really wants a baby (of course) and that maybe her body is trying to tell her that it will happen.
Funny how when we want something bad enough, we can actually convince ourselves that it is real or dream about it in our sleep. Have you ever heard of a false pregnancy? This is a very real condition in which our mind actually convinces or bodies into thinking that we are pregnant, called Pseudocyseis. It is very real and happens mostly to women in their 30's or 40's who want a baby very badly and cannot conceive or women who have had a miscarriage or lost a child.
While some women actually get a positive pregnancy test, most just experience pregnancy symptoms such as cravings, sickness, and a growing belly! While this is a very rare condition, it is very real, and can be very emotional for someone who wants a baby so badly.
If you think that you may have a false pregnancy, talk to your doctor, but don't quit wanting that baby. A positive outlook, wether in a dream or in your everyday life will keep you stress free and more likely to conceive.
